While a flexitank is a hermetic sealed, collapsible and flexible bag/bladder that, when loaded, fits inside a standard 20-foot intermodal shipping container.

25. What Is The Free Storage Time For Tank Containers?
The free days for tank containers are usually about 3-5 days after the container has been discharged from the transportation vessel.
The cost of storing the container until it is picked up and gated from the terminal is deducted.
Before the cargo can be picked up from the port, demurrage is needed to be paid off.
Detention applies to time spent outside of the port, and it will be levied if the consignee keeps the carrier’s container longer than the permitted free days.

Some hazardous goods must be transported in tanks with no openings below the liquid’s surface level, with the substance being discharged through a syphon pipe, using either pressure or pumping.
28. What Are The General Safety Points Of A Tank Container?
Since there is always a pressure difference between a closed tank and the atmosphere so all the valves should be opened with caution and all the pressure within the tank must be released before opening the manhole.
Always open and close the foot valve first when using the bottom outlet.
Before loading or unloading, make sure that all valves that are not in use are shut off, and if loading through the manhole, secure the hose as close to the manhole as possible to avoid hose whiplash and contact with the tank surface.
